Perdue proposes higher fines for 'Super Speeders'

I think its bullshit, it would probably take me an extra hour to get to Tampa if I had to drive 10mph slower just to avoid that. Also I have a feeling a majority of those fatalities occured from people who were DUI. Even if this does pass it probably will have an extremely low effect on the speeds people drive in Atlanta, the only way you are going to slow people down is with rolling road blocks.......oh.......wait.........those kids did that and it caused a huge traffic jam and resulted in a bunch of road rage.

Accidents are going to happen in Atlanta no matter what, its a combination of things.
1)Drivers test is far to easy
2)Lack of Signaling
3)Cell Phones
4)Not checking mirrors etc.
5)4million people living in an area where the roads are intended for maybe 1million
6)DUI
7)Speed
