    Default BBS Files for bankruptcy

    Link to Article (in German)
Apparently high aluminum prices and the loss of a major customer caused them to file for bankruptcy. A few other companies agreed to help bail them out but the banks wouldn't cooperate. Sucks for Subaru I guess.

Walker was talking about this at lunch. Supposedly the next models from Subaru are going back to steel instead of aluminum. Sucks.

my question is why would subaru go back to steel rims when they could use prodrive rims from someone they have a partnership with already?
When I was a child, I used to talk as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I put aside childish things.

Subaru is not going to steel rims, they are using less aluminum in their cars and more steel.
