Honda lies with their gas tanks, fucking liars, my Prelude scares me, the digital gauge realllllly fluctuates a lot, but i mean, the tank max is i think 16, i usually do 12-13 with the light on, lowest i have put in the Lude is 4.55ish on premium gas.
Not necessarily, Ever read your owners manual to see the capacities? My accord says 17gal. but when i fill up its around 14. A little reserve so if you're stuck in the middle of nowhere on Excitement, you can still get somewhere.

As for small amounts of gas, i work at BP and for some reason, it annoys me when someone is seriously deciding between gas or cigarettes/beer. Kids (18+) bring me a $5 bill, buy cigs and tell me to put the rest in gas and i cant cause it wont let me put less than a dollar. Where are your priorities?. We have prepay too so we dont get any drive-offs
