Yea so i get the notice my license is suspended starting the 7th. Got 3 points in May of '06 for "Failure to Obey Signs or Control Device" (U-Turned on Yellow), and another from March of '06 for "Following Too Closely" (Chick slammed on her brakes in bumper to bumper traffic at a green light to keep from hitting a squirrel). Both offenses were 3 points on my license each, so my license is suspended for 6 months. So.... No well paying job this summer = broke. Looks like i'll be saving my taxes to pay for other expenses instead of indulging. God this shit is gay as fuck.... Fuck GA... they cashin in on me. Prolly $1000+ in 2 tickets and failure to appear fines and bullshit. +$200 for for "restoration" fee. Do I -have- to turn my license in, like will i be penalized for not turning it in? I think its my only form of ID that shows my age.

Yes, I blame GA for this. Mostly because you get 2 points for a speeding ticket, and 3 points for rolling through a stop sign. Seems a bit lopsided. and WTF happened to things getting expunged from your record when u turn 18?!?

there is one thing I learned in driving school...its called the 3 second rule...you pic a point ahead of the car in front of you...then when they pass that point..count to 3...as in 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, 3 Mississippi..and if you pass that point before you get done counting..then you are infact too close. Thats also if you cant judge distance very well and don't know the limitations of your own vehicle. I have been rear ended MANY times and its always because the fucker behind me is not paying attention or is riding my ass, and not one time have I brake checked anyone.

I have more tickets and shit on my driving record than anyone here...Every ticket I got was my fault...either:

A- I was being a dumbass

B- I just didnt give a fuck

C- I was not paying attention


I am paying for it right now because I have 6 months probation and if I get 1 more ticket with in this 6 month period my license is gone for 5 years...soo..dont tell me its GA's fault..even if you didnt do it, its your word against theirs and they are always going to be right.

one i got pulled over goin 77, there was a speed limit sign that said 70 10 feet in front of my car and the officer said 60 and gave me one for 17 over, i wuda fought it but it was in tenessee and i was on my way back to school
