    thats 3 dead,and 3 strikesur out,im done with MS..im selling all my 360 stuff and most likely gonna buy a Wii

    lol,nice one...they all get the red light of death and overheating is the problem, im gonna part out the 360,lol

    ps..this one had a intercooler,first one lasted 2 days,2nd one lasted 4 months and this one has lasted from june till now

    i bought one and the only problem i've had out of it is losing my xbox live connection.

    what extras u got for it.. pm me and i might buy them! lol... controllers/games and what not. holler at me.

    i will only run my horizontal... verticle is too dangerous... one bump and say bye bye to ur game...


    anyone seen the docks that allow u to stand it up verticle and not worry about a bump or vibration?

    I've had 2 now and have had no serious problems. My old roommate was a douche bag and always had the heater and afire going.. so upstarts it was a easy 85 degrees.. like I would just sit in my room a sweat!! and my xbox cut off a few times for no reason.. so then I moved the xbox next to the window and cracked the window and I had no more problems... I now have my own place and keep it a bit cooler so no problems and I also have my xbox standing up

    only issue i have is once in awhile mine wont read the game disc and i take them out to clean them a few times and it works again for awhile but the CDs go from the 360 to the case and sometimes they get "dirty" without leaving the xbox

    i had mine say the disc "was dirty or unreadable" once in the middle of a game. other than that no problem

    Dont keep it in a closed in area, keep it open so it can cool off, even put a fan near it to cool the air.

    Probably mentioned, but all Xboxs have a 1 year warranty; this is a retro-fit to ones originally sold as well.

    the nyko intercooler can be a good or bad thing....just do a search on google about them....it plugs into your power supply causing it to drain just a very minimal amount of power needed to keep the 360 running....there are plenty of guys who have had their 360s give them the red ring of death because of the boards shorting out from the intercooler. At this point, there is no microsoft certified 3rd party cooling unit, but they recommend something that uses the USB plug in, that way it doesnt draw enough power and it's not proprietary from the machine.


    I'm using the pelican vertical cooling stand....my only concern is that the fan might not be strong enough.

    ive got the fan on the back and then the USB wireless network adaptor. Sometimes i get the red ring when i first turn it on and then i turn off and on and no issues

    Ive got mine standing up vertical with an intercooler but my problem isnt over heating..Everytime i go into matchmaking in a game it will say ethernet connection lost..My cords are all plug in and i dont lose connection from internet i just get dissconnected from xbox live..anybody having this problem?..i have comcast by the way and it sucks

    you need to check your wireless router settings, because it might be conflicting with your adaptor and they keep dropping each other

    I think the problem is Comcast! When I am at mt GF house here in Smyrna (with Comcast), I get disconnected all the time!...when I am Home in Warner Robins (with Cox Cable), I never get a disconnect.
    There's no trim like a 50 trim....oh wait!

    I've heard about the disconnecting problem with people on the boards, but I don't have a solution. Do a google search. I am sure that someone has figured out a way around this.
