    Default Software for LG Phone

    I recently bought an LG CU400 and got the cable to connect it to my computer. Does anyone know what program I should look to download for it so I can transfer ringtone clips and pics etc. I had a motorola and had used motorola phone tools, which was a great program that even had a music maker built in so I could crop my own music. Does anyone know the software like this for my LG phone. Thanks.

    im not 100% on it but im sure there is....i know you can drag and drop with it and if youve already got clips, that should work...LMK if it doesnt...did you mean the cu500 BTW or the 400?

    i doubt you can drag and drop with the cu400. try mobileaction.com

    Teejay, yeah i thought he was talking about the 500 for a second cause i didnt think anyone would get the 400 when the 500 is a ton better...one of my favorite cingular phones for the money....HAHAHA, i found out something today about the sprint aircards too....they say they arent Mac compatible....just got off the G4 with one....

    I didn't know it was the wrong section. I just figured it would get the most views.

    and I got the CU400 because my old phone broke and I was eligible for an upgrade and only certain phones were on the list.

    I can't drag and drop because it won't even read it, it just says new thing in USB drive and its not under my computer.

    start, my computer and still nothing then no, you cant drag and drop...shit if i still had my slvr you coulda got it cheap

    yeah, thanks man. i just searched on torrents for the mobile tools for my motorola and found it. it doesnt seem that LG has the same software.

    do you have a mini SD card installed? my lg wouldn't connect w/o a mini SD

    and get NERO it has a mp3/wav editor i use it to create my shit

    No the CU400 unfortunatley does not have the mini SD or any expandable memory. I was hoping it would be easy like my Motorola. Buy the cord, and there would be a program to use to tranfer things. It doesn't even have to be LG specific I guess. It just so happened the Motorola one was.
