heres how i see it.
me and kevin have around the same power. his is instant, i have to spool.
at 60mps kevin ( i believe) is in 2nd IN VTEC.with thw spray it will be fatal. my gears i would be like 7k in 2nd, so i would have to be in 3rd, low rpm. so from 60, kevin will launch crazy on me.
my goal is to hang with him from a 40 roll.
HE HAS 200X THE SEAT TIME.
i have driven my crx for no more than 1hr. and when it comes out of the shop i wont have much seat time, due to me working mon- sat 7am til 9pm. thats why im not trying to go str8 from the shop to race kevin.
i believe his setup is better than mine, for the racing we are doing.

I was gonna say, if K is at 2nd in 60mph - he still only has about another 1k RPMS before the shift (1500 tops, depending on valvetrain) - the smart guy would launch in 3rd and spray the living shit out if it. Revving to 9k allows you to hold the gear, and Casey WILL have to shift 1st - no doubt about it. And we all know what happens when you shift 1st in a street run where the power is equal or close to equal. What I think gives Casey an edge is the TQ production - I am not so concerned about peak - Casey's TQ under the curve can't just be disregarded by Kevin.
