If that salesman gets mad and doesn't want to sale you it, jus get a lil louder and be like "So ok who wants to make some money today, bc this guy(the one that you talked too) should be fired."
If you got the money there in hand ready to buy a car I am rather positive another salesman will jump up and take it. Only thing a car salesman wants to rape more then a buyer is his competitive coworker..

Yeah I went to SoG cause I had a problem with my engine being anchored right (thought it was the pitch stop mount but it was the tranny mount) and the service guy was like wait a min.... this is an 02 and that is an EJ25. Who put this motor in? I said that Topspeed did it. When I told him that they also reflashed the ECU he asked me why I didn't get it done there and I asked him how much they would charge and I said well thats why. Right then he stopped looking at my car and told me to come back when I blew the motor and he would put another one in for me. I proceeded to tell him that he could go fuck himself and then I went over to classic (they were better but not too much).
haahahaha damn 725/month and 12% i would have slapped that mutherfucker in the face....... im glad i get 4.9 % on my cars.....

how are they different from any other person in sales??? they are trying to make a living as well, blame the dealership for making them make money off of comission if you want to blame anyone.
you know its not like your only option is going to a dealership. if you want to pay the extra money to have some safety in your mind that your car is gonna run great then go to a dealership. if you're a bit more mechanical savy then try and find it through a private party and search for the best deal.
a lot of people go to dealerships, so if u wanna blame anyone blame the dealer owners who set it up like that or blame the people who buy the cars... dont blame the guy doing his job and what he is told to do or else he loses his job.

hah i had that one there before i even got a car(from when i was obsessed with dave chappelle), and im no where close to rich but my parents have money.. i was going to buy the sti on my own, i think after i got done paying it off i would of paid somewhere over 38k and i ran it passed my dad n shit then he just said he'd rather buy the vette for me to drive and me save my money.
btw guys just try not to hate so much, im sure any of you would of made the same choice that i made.

Price is not the issue, the issue is trying to screw people on jacked-up interest rates. Just because you buy from a dealer doesn't make the car anymore reliable ( if they are used). Dealers don't have to check a car of a different make as well as there own..example buying a Honda at the Ford dealer. I don't hate someone for making a living as a car saleman. Just be honest, the car will sell it self.

and yes there is a guarantee for a certain amount of miles at most places and they do maintenance on the car after they get it.
you don't know what the hell happened to a third party car, but if you know your stuff then you can find a good deal anywhere w/o going to a dealer.
fact of the matter is that not everyone in the state of georgia is on Import Atlanta or any other type of car site, most people could not tell you what a spark plug does.
a convincing dealer will sell a car if they can pick up traits from a buyer and see what kind of market they would be in for when buying a car and can maximize profits for the dealership. No one wants to walk into a lot and just randomly search through cars, it makes the process so much smoother when you have a car dealer there guiding you through it and giving you insight on cars.
the #1 thing most of u guys forget is that the majority of people look at a car as a mode of transportation and know nothing about them
and what does interest rates have to do with it??? wasn't the guy getting it from a bank??? if you are going to the dealer for a loan its prob cuz u have been rejected and have bad credit... why would they want to give u low insurnace if theres a high chance u wont pay it back if ur getting rejected elsewhere (this does not apply to the thread starter)...
my dad gets people buying cars all the time they clearly can't afford, they're not gonna give you something they don't think you can pay for. i dont blame them, its a business

because its irresponsible of the parents. its one thing to get them a car, but its another to get them a car that is too fast for most adults. just like all those kids that get killed or kill others in their cobras etc.. im not saying hes going to kill himself or anyone, im just saying its pretty naive of the parents. also if you dont have your kid save up for a car, how will they know the work the parents had to do to get their own everything. im glad my parents always made me pay, even the car they bought me at one point i ended up paying for. but im not hating on him for having the car, just stating my opinion.
as far as that dealership, sounds to me like theyre shitty. i would definitely go somewhere else and spend the money.

When i got out of high school i got something, when my brother got out of college he got something, When i get out of college i will probly get something also. It's not saying that someones parent couldn't get them a car its saying that someones parents knew what was better for thier child to have. No one is worried what his dad got him or didn't get him. The point is many people feel getting someone so young a 400 HP 12 second 1/4 mile $50k car is a bit silly. Not only would his dad be paying out the ass to insure that car, but in a majority of cases someone so young wouldn't be mature or experienced enough to handle a car like that. Its more of a safety and financial issue then a jealousy issue.

I think this is some type of "steering" effect. I don't know the specifics about "steering", other than it being a tactic used by insurance companies in the auto repair market to "steer" customers to specific places to repair the vehicle. The insurance companies reap some type of benefit. In some instances I think it is illegal. I know "steering" was been a problem up north for a while.
(Im not saying you should file a lawsuit. They don't have to sell to you, and you don't have to buy from them. It sounds shitty,but thats the way it is. If you want it bad enough, you get it under their terms)

i would rather go through subaru because "generally" you get a better interest rate, but right now I think i am leaning more towards getting rid of the bike and the truck, getting my $12K and putting it all down in a month or two, that way they, Subaru or the bank, cannot say i am not serious enough and try to screw me with another high interest rate again....i can wait now that the Limited edition is gone...
Yeah, I hate when people generalize car salesmen as assholes. Granted, when I walk into the dealerships we buy from and they start jumping down my throat, I just have to say, "Sorry, I'm just here to pick up some drafts/titles."
My family owns/runs a car lot here in SW Atlanta, but I can't sell a car for shit.
I have to go to new car dealerships on a daily basis, and they're just trying to earn a living.
Remeber: Just because the salesmen dress/act like they have money, most of them don't.
