i got pulled by a GSP car once doing 90 and no lisence plate
(got rear ended a few weeks before so the plate was in the front windshield)

and he didnt even give me a warning he walked up to the car and i held up the plate and he said" there it is, that all i wanted to see" and told us to drive safely
