All of the rallies are basically the same thing. They are not races but more driving fast across the country trying not to get caught by the cops. I think the DVD Gumball Mischeif helped alot show people the real side of it. Dado and Dustin have made a few $$$ off of their dvd but what people dont know, many authorities have tried to file charges after the fact from that video.

Anyway the main difference between the Gumball and the AKA and others are the caliper of people. During the Gumball you are dealing with some true ballers who seem to have a million dollars in their back pocket. While I am on a budget saying I can only spend $2000 of extra money, they will pay that at dinner or a strip club. Dont get me wrong, you will still have fun but some of these ballers will make you feel like shit and I was driving a pretty nice car. They considered it a cute Japanese car. Anyway I befriended many of them and I am still friends with them today but over all the Gumball Rally/Players Run/The Great American Race (All the same owners) will become very clicky and you will separate into group as soon as it starts.

The AKA Rally is smaller and most people know every other drivers name. It is a lot like Import Atlanta where is stays realistic and no one is driving a million dollar machine. If you have the money and the resources, then do the Gumball but if you will be straining financially to participate, then do the AKA. Gumball total event cost including gas, transporation, and food etc = 22k with co-driver. AKA Rally total is about 10k.

I hope this helps.
