    Default FS: 1981 Datsun 280ZX Runs

    114k miles
    runs good (cold start issue almost gone... takes a few cranks to get it started but runs great after...)
    *reinstalled dash and all interior pannels
    The little light up dot matrix display checker thing actually works :-o
    Passenger seat is out of the car. i have the seat mount things. its out because there is some rust on the Passenger side floor and could use new floors welded in which would be cheep if you know someone that welds...
    Rear right quarter pannel has a dent and the tail light is broke a little on that side.
    Small exhaust leak
    Its a 5 speed of course
    The tires are decent, its got some perelli's on it
    Comes with some extra newer (not sure if completely new) rotors (not sure if front or rear)
    Brakes felt good, clutch felt good
    T-tops in really good condition
    Power windows and locks that work
    Has new plug wires, injector seals, dist, plugs and tps

    This car is exempt from emissions
    I have the title in hand...

    Posted price (asking $1500). Not sure on MPG, it does run a tad rich right now but thats why i'm cleaning out the mass air flow sensor ...

    Its actually fuel injected. Hence the new injector seals .

    I don't know a ton about these cars cause I bought this one for a project car and had a change of heart on what car i want to build... This would be a great one but I just decided on something else.

    To my knowledge tho its pretty rare to find one of these with so few miles on it...

    Oh and i do have the title in hand. Also it is exempt from emissions...

    Some updates...

    The cold start issue has greatly improved. The dash and all the interior pieces have been reinstalled. The e-brake works now, it was simply disconnected... I ran some seafoam through it and it runs even better now...

    You can't make his Z look like that one in the pics because that's an S30 Z chassis and his is the S130, however I have seen some pretty nice 280ZXs. Have you checked the floorpans and frame rails, and under the battery and spare tire to check for rust? I've had a few ZXs and they won't die. I'd like to have another 5 speed one due to the t-tops

    Flip you have too many cars... do something big with one of them. I think your turbo in the STi has a inferiority complex haha you should fix that. I'm down for some late night turbo swaps. Glad to hear that your clutch is holding up. Call me sometime
