I have for same my 2005 Nissan XTERRA OFFROAD model. It has every available option, including four wheel drive, 5 speed automatic transmission, tech package (rockford fosgate factory 6 disk changer (mp3) with 8 speakers and a sub), tow package, and OFFROAD package (bilstein shocks, skid plates, locking rear diff, special interior material). KBB private party in good condition is $14,451. The vehicle was recently serviced by Nissan. It has the remainder of the 5 year/60k mile powertrain warranty, so you can take it and have the powertrain checked out by a dealer if you want before it runs out at 60k miles. I have never had any problems with this vehicle. It does have a few light scratches on the outside, nothing that a good wax job wouldn't fix. The interior is in good condition, with a slight amount of wear to the driver's seat. Tires have about 15k miles on them, with around 60-70% tread remaining. I have had the vehicle serviced every 3-4k miles and use only mobil 1 synthetic oil. I take good care of my vehicles. PM me if interested. Price: $13,499 OBO. No lowballing please.

TRADES CONSIDERED: Jeep wrangler RUBICON 2007-Up plus cash on my part. (I would prefer a Hard top and 6 speed manual, other options don't matter to me).

Here is a good writeup from car and driver, comparing the XTERRA with a few other off road capable vehicles, both on and off road. Guess who won.
