As of right now, no parting out. If I'm gonna spend the time to take off parts then I'd probably just tear it down to see exactly what the problem is. If something changes I'll be sure to post it though.

no i don't... haven't really had the time, money, or place to try and figure it out. like i said.. there's a knocking noise when it's cranked.. rod, bearing, something else.. not real sure... anyone's welcome to come check it out tho.
it sounds like like a bent rod man. knocking sound im not a mechanic but if its load and you can hear it from a distance that should be the problem, right?

Good luck bending crowers rods with only 270 hp, have you ever seen them, could be bad oil pressure, the knock low or high, if its hish, check the oil pressure, could be timing chain tensioner making lots of racket. I know the motor, it was plasti-gauged and specs were perfect, I'd say oil issue. Definitely worth the money for someone, those bottom ends with those parts are easily capable of 800 hp.

E&E shut down after they got bought....in the middle of some epically shady shit. I hope you got the car thoroughly torn down by a REPUTABLE shop after that.
I had some minor work done with an oil leak and had an Emanage installed and tuned by Batlground. That's pretty much it for the main stuff. When the oil leak was being fixed, the shop said internals, visually, looked fine. The goal would have been to have it torn down, but thats just more money that I don't have.
