    Default 1972 Datsun 1200 coupe - $500

    Not a Nissan by the badging, but from the same famiry.

    1972 Datsun 1200 coupe. 4 spd manual, B210 rear end, Weber 32/36 2 bbl with matching manifold, bored .030 over. Been in the family for about 25 years. Hasn't run in the last 15 or so.

    Very strictly a project car. Needs floorpans and a good bit of rust repair. (Some in the trunk area, lower edges of fenders, surface on some body panels). Needs a driveshaft made to match the 1200 transmission to the slightly sturdier B210 rear end. Has been stripped with the intention of beginning restoration, but other project cars have taken precedence.

    I don't have the bumpers or any interior bits aside from the ragged door panels, the back seat, and the dash, which is still in the car. The rest of it was pretty rotten.

    Very rare car in the U.S. though, especially in the coupe format instead of sedan. Most were sold in Australia and the UK, not many left in the states.

    need anything in trade? I cannot justify buying another project right now but if theres any parts/misc stuff you need and would like to trade for let me know..

    Well guys, I made a mistake tonight. I made a space indoors to keep the little Datsun, and then started piddling around with it...cleaning it up...spent an hour grinding on the hood and painted it, and after seeing how good it can look, I can't let it go. Been in the family too long.

    If a mod could please delete. We'll call it sold.

    bought B210 hatch sunday, havent driven it yet by best friend did, i got it for him as of now to get around til his car is ready. We have plans for this car already.
