its hatch, same thing, im just saying, since its not running its techincally a shell with a dead motor

    basically

    -Good Condition Hatch Shell
    -250hp Turbo Kit
    -Motor has 160k
-Spare motor has 90k with rolled push rod bearing in cylinder 1

will need the old motor taken out, the new motor put in, turbo kit assembled, and of course a tuning for the turbo kit. and you will have 250hp easy. Its at 8 pounds, I know a KA-T that ran 6 pounds and made 247hp.

    na..
    KA-T running 247whp @ 6psi would be on a t3 or a hybrid t3/t4.
    definitely not a t25.

    LOL. JJ is getting owned.
if you dump as much as you put into a sr into a ka, you can get the same results at a cheaper price.
    same with the sr.
there are a few stock block KA running 350whp on a daily basis on KA-T.Org.
Im sure there are a few stock block SR running 350whp on daily basis as well.
    t25.

T25 wont reach more than low 200s whp on KA.
after that, it'll become a hair dryer.

my offer stands! 500 and ill come pick the shell up
    you keep every mods!

Is there any internal work done on the working engine. KA's are most definately not known for being solid engines when you just slap a turbo on it. also this seems like a great deal but putting an engine in isnt the easiest thing to do. *Considering Offer*

no its stock, thats why its running stock boost. due to it being high compression, its basically like doubling the boost level. 8 pounds on an SR20 feels like 16 pounds on a KA. but yeah, $1800 for a more than stock 240? I hate to get rid of it.

i wish, then maybe there wouldnt be so many sr20 swaps. the KA-T is a good application if you have strong parts, but the stock KA parts with 150k miles arent too boost happy. Hence the reason why its staying at low boost.

for those of you who think you know about boost and compression numbers and all that jazz. tell me the compression numbers for a stock ka, then tell me the numbers from a silvia sr20, then show me a reliable KA-T that is pushing over 350whp. key word is reliable. daily driver material might i add. if you cant, then please dont post. thanks for the free bumps though you guys.
