This is misleading. There are no embassies in the Vatican City itself, the new location is infact closer to Vatican City, in the same compound as the embassy in Italy, and the buildings were purchased pre-Obama administration.

But I suppose the narrative WT and the Drudge pushes sounds better than the actual truth. Lol.
