When there was a big issue surrounding the Catholic Church and birth control about a year ago, the same priest ranted about his version of the separation of church and state and how it was unconstitutional to make contraceptives available to women. I've been plenty of times since then.

Do you think because I attend that church that I agree with his assessment of the constitutionality of optional contraceptives?

Yes, since you continue to go to the church and absorb the same message. Otherwise why would you go? You already know his stance.

and just in case you forgot: you don't NEED to go to church to practice your religious beliefs. . If I didn't agree with one pastor's stance on something, I would go to another one. Plenty of churches around. Or would just pray at home.
