lol this is so crazy... I agree with you Simon.
There are 1,000's of people in America that don't follow politics so they vote on what moves them.. Some because Obama is Black, Some because Romney is White, others because something stands out like "Healthcare", "War", "Citizenship", Abortion, Gay rights, Religion etc...
and they choose the person that benefits them the most. They don't know everything each runner up is either for or against so you could do this poll on either person.

I'm voting for Obama - does that mean I agree with him on everything he supports ??? NO! But i agree with more stuff he does then Romney. And i'm sure who ever votes for Romney fills the same way.
Does that mean that some white voters are voting for Romney because he is White - Yes
Does that mean that some black voters are voting for Obama because he is Black - Yes
Some are voting because they are Gay and want a president that supports that also
Some are voting because they have family in the war and they want the soldiers home

I think its crazy to say that these voters are stupid because they don't vote for a president for the same reasons you vote for them.
I'm black - I can understand why black voters would vote for Obama on color alone (because of our history in this country and wanting to see someone of our color in the white house)
If your white you might under stand why white voters would vote for Romney because he is white.

I don't agree with the racial differences but they are there and they exist and nothing we can do about that...

I'm not going to call those white voters or the black voters Stupid for the reason they vote.

I use to work at IBM and every morning i would park next to a 01' Yellow ITR - parked next to the car for a year and finally saw the driver (50yr old white lady) I talked to her one day because i thought to myself "Why is she driving an ITR" after speaking to her i mentioned i love your ITR and she said thanks. I went on rambling about all the awesome reasons for owning an ITR and she said she bought the car brand new ..... ONLY REASON WAS BECAUSE IT WAS YELLOW - AND ITS HER FAVORITE COLOR! WOW

You didn't buy the car because its an ITR?, 5spd, carbon fiber inside, red stitched interior, engine, etc... NO - She said she wishes it was automatic and had a sunroof but she only bought it because it was "YELLOW" LOL

I guess the point of the story is that just because some people are not as passionate or detailed as you are about certain things it doesn't mean they are stupid.

She has just as much right to own an ITR because its Yellow as i do for my reasons.

Well - thats my 2cents..
Let's be nice guys and respectful towards each other and we will get our point across a lot easier and i'm a grown up, i can respect that obama didn't do some things he said he was gong to do.. (I also understand that just because your the president it doesn't mean that you can do what every you want) But i also know that Romney changes his mind every day so i don't know what he stands for, for more then 24hr. lol

You seem to understand reality.

I know that simontibbet was just poking back at sinfix. I know that he is not ignorant, just has a different viewpoint on issues. I'm just giving him a hard time on the random comment.

No candidate is perfect and you have to vote for the president that you believe will do the best job.

If your life has improved over the last few years then you might believe that Obama is the best choice. If not, perhaps Romney. Personally, I choice to vote for the person who will implement policies that will benefit the nations next generation, rather than just my own.
