Social media: "Romney lied like a rug on every major topic he addressed, and here's documentation."

I find it funny, didn't check into the individual "smoking gun, pants on fire" lies, but surely one of you politics folks can shed some insight.
Lying is not antithetical to "winning" a debate. If you sound more persuasive then you can win a debate even if you are dead wrong about facts. Romney came off as more prepared, energetic and confident. That is why he won.
