Whats unethical about it is that people think the profit motive and short term gain is always the best way to go about everything and that's simply not the case. We've applied it to too many things: healthcare, education, energy and look where we're at. It costs $50,000 to get a broken leg fixed, it costs $100k to get a good education, it costs almost $4 for a gallon of gas (that's been cut by alcohol!). All because people want to make a profit off of it.
