What if China invaded the US?

Haven't watched the video yet but a Chinese invasion of the US makes no sense whatsoever. Look what happened when the greatest military and technological powerhouse in the world tried to invade a relatively small and technologically primitive Iraq. Now imagine what a mess it would be for anyone to try and invade the US. Not to mention what would the response be from the rest of the world? The old invade and conquer style of warfare is pretty much on its deathbed. Future wars will be more and more information wars.

For simple logistical reasons, the only way to invade the US would be to come from Canada or Mexico. It would not be possible to build up a force large enough to invade without the US knowing in either of those countries so an invasion attempt would be crushed before it ever got started.

Look what happened when the greatest military and technological powerhouse in the world tried to invade a relatively small and technologically primitive Iraq.

The war phase went off perfectly and it was a complete route. It was the police action that was a complete mess. That mess was mainly caused by interference from non-Iraqi 'freedom fighters' and the support they received from Saudi Arabia and Iran. The biggest mistake of the entire fiasco in Iraq was that US troops did not seal off the borders. If they seal the borders, Iraq sees a VASTLY different outcome.

Now imagine what a mess it would be for anyone to try and invade the US.

An invasion of the US would be futile for MANY reasons. The biggest reason would be the strength of our military. After that you have location, distance, and the fact that the US citizenry is VERY well armed. A successful invasion of the US would take decades of preparation and would center around infiltrating hundreds of thousands of people into the country over many years. These people would be needed to attack and sabotage our infrastructure. Roads, bridges and communications would need to be cut off for weeks while an invasion force assembles in their home country then makes the trek to the US coastline. On top of that, this sabotage would need to look like accidents or be set up in a way that forces US law enforcement to look into local groups. Even if that all goes well, the invasion fleet would need to get to its offload point without being spotted by American or British .

Yea a Chinese invasion United States is one of the most unlikly war scenarios. China would first have to get through the both bases in North Korea and Japan.
Which would then trigger a nice nuclear response from the west...
