Default The Checking Account Scam - How Wells Fargo Gouged Its Customers

A case a few years back opens up how big banks legally swindle their customers. Now you can see why people are so upset. I learned about this through an interaction with a WF customer service supervisor a few years back when I got overdrafted even though I had money in my account. We went down the list of transactions with a calculator, and even though my math was right she kept trying to tell me 3-2= -1. Math just doesnt work that way. When I bitched my way up to the supervisor, she told me what happend and kinda leaked how they processed everything (I dont think she was supposed to tell me). Very shady.

    Anyways, read.

    moral of the story:

manage money well enough to where you dont overdraft, if charged an overdraft fee that isnt correct, raise hell.

I was "grandfathered in" to WF from wachovia so i dont have to have all there rules and such now (you have to have "way to save" account or your chared 12$ fee each month) ect.

I don't know how much you have in a way to save, but mine yields more interest than my MMA

I do like how they have spending habits, per month broken down.. And luckily for me wells fargo purchased my home loan, so its there as well..
