Addressing the first video: there is a "pill for every ill" because there are also 99 lazy fucks that go to a doctor for a simple fix for every one person that gets off their ass, exercises, and eats right.

The idea that doctors don't know nutrition is blown way out of proportion. They spend years learning about what unhealthy habits do to your body so that's at least a start. Have you ever heard of a doctor whose patient has cirrhosis of the liver? What about some lardass whose cholesterol is mistaken for his area code? The doctor will say "stop drinking" to the first guy and "lay off the fucking twinkies" to the second. A doctor is there to heal the sick, not hold your hand like you are some fucking baby that can't figure out a proper diet once mommy took her titty away. They can always refer you to a dietitian so they can spend their time helping real sick people.

Hospitals are problem places for infection for many reasons, but as healthcare professionals gain understanding about things such as bacterial resistance and good ole quarantines, the infection numbers have dropped. It is still an issue, and probably will never be wiped out, but progress is being made.

I find the whole "food to take over the world" idea to be pretty stupid. Yeah I know there are big food companies with lots of influence (Monsanto in particular), but they don't make me buy what I buy and there are about zero things I would actually do for a Klondike bar that take more effort than shelling out 4 bucks at Kroger. I know she claims evidence, but it's a shitload easier to find evidence for a belief you already have than to look at evidence and form ideas afterward.

True but alot of people don't see it like that. They buy what's convenient or cheap not what's best for them
