Fucking great. I could have sworn they all read the bill they said. But yet they did not know that they are losing ther super health care plans and going to the same options that everyone else is getting.

This should surprise no one. If we are lucky, we will get a new bill proposal that as part of the new bill, repeals this one. A bill that will not affect the current bill until a new one is passed is FAR more likely to garner some democrat support, and will probably garner enough support to override Obama's veto.

Your article says Obama himself will be participating in the Gov't exchange program voluntarily. I really don't see how requiring the pres and Congress to participate in the insurance exchanges will have much impact on them as they can all get VA/Medicare/private plans/etc anyway. The poorest member of Congress has at least 2 million dollars. Once you reach that level you can pretty much just pay cash.

Also, the Dems kept their house seat in the special election in Florida yesterday. I thought they were supposed to be losing seats?

It was also a very heavily democrat district where the GOP was a larger underdog than in Mass. It's no different than any other district that heavily favors 1 party.
