Did he answer questions directly? Nope, he steered the conversation in the direction he wanted it to go into, but I really didn't expect anything less. When you go to a network where your name is all but vilified you would be a dumb ass not to be on the defensive.

Lets say for instance W. Bush went on MSNBC do you think he'd come in compromising on talking points? It is the nature of the beast that is politics today, all about perception and less about substance. That interview is a win for him because he goes back to his side of the isle and say "look, I stood up to them in the name of healthcare reform." It's a win for conservative media like Fox news because they "asked the hard hitting questions" that Obama had no answer for. It's a game of political positioning, nothing gained, nothing lost and really a waste of my time.
Thats what I was after. Thats why I even put up the part about who gives a shit what station it was, but more the questions and the answers to them. Like you said Obama proved during that interview that he was a dumbass. He did not have the answers to the questions on a major bill that he is standing 110% behind and trying to convince others ot believe in.

To me him dancing around those questions means that he did not want to answer them thruthfully. Showing that he really had no idea what he was talking about, like always, and when asked about him saying one thing as a Senator and then saying something thats the exact opposite as a President really makes you wonder.
