So Fox gives you a lot more time with "talking heads" than the other networks. This is because having a face in front of a camera is both faster and cheaper to produce than traditional taped/edited content and it also gives the illusion of immediacy. But Fox's style of production leaves little time for fact checking, and also emphasizes the style and attitude of the reporters over the actual content of the stories.
24 hour cable news in general is an inferior source to print media, and online sources like the AP and online newspapers. I feel sorry for people who can't sit still long enough to read a newspaper, but then again half this forum can barely read anyway and are fools to be pitied.
