    The crazy thing about Nelson is that he got medicare to pay for the expansion in ALL states until 2017. From then on its only Nebraska at 100%, the other states drop to 98, and keep falling from there over time. Perhaps by 2017 the Nebraska deal might be revoked, or might be expanded to all 50 states.

    Nelson's deal is forever, but it isnt my biggest problem with it. The use of bribery to gain votes for an unpopular bill is my problem.

    Because it hasnt happened yet I havent mentioned it, but Blender, being the hardcore liberal that you are, do you agree with delaying a democratically elected official's swearing in for the specific purpose of preventing him from voting on a bill?
