What "school" is this for. Wikipedia will give you a summary, but you don't want to use it as your primary source as teachers and academic types sort of frown on it for various reasons (not gonna go into that here).

But if you are asking a car forum for help with your history homework.... yeah, good luck with that.

Yeah, but most of us are just here to bicker with each other (all in fun, of course). I really could tell you about FDR but you could just find the same info on Wiki along with the primary sources whoever wrote the Wiki used.

The rest of the forum will probably give you some commentary on how FDR was secretly born in Africa, shoots missles at secret alien bases on the moon, and is probably the antichrist.

Bite your tongue - He was hatched in Antartica from a cursed egg, established secret bases on the moon for the aliens (which later allowed them to be spotted in their UFOs), and is definitly not eht anticrist - he is Lucifer in the flesh!

I do know one thing for sure... theres a massive stash of Jew gold hidden somewhere in D.C. and theres a microchip in every $20 bill that has the location on it. Where is Nicholas Cage when we need him?....

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_D._Roosevelt

Franklin Delano Roosevelt (January 30, 1882 – April 12, 1945) a four term president and the only U.S. President elected to more than two terms, was a central figure in world events during the mid-20th century, leading the United States during a time of worldwide economic crisis and world war. Often referred to by his initials, FDR won his first of four presidential elections in 1932, while the United States was in the depths of the Great Depression. His combination of optimism and economic activism is often credited with keeping the country's economic crisis from developing into a political crisis. He led the United States through most of World War II, and died in office of a cerebral hemorrhage, shortly before the war ended.

Roosevelt's approach to the economic situation he inherited is known as the New Deal. The New Deal consisted both of executive orders and legislation pushed through Congress. Executive orders included the bank holiday declared when he first came to office; legislation created new government agencies, such as the Works Progress Administration and the National Recovery Administration, with the intent of creating new jobs for the unemployed. Other legislation provided direct assistance to individuals, such as the Social Security Act.

As World War II began in 1939, with Japanese occupation of countries on the western Pacific rim and the rise of Hitler in Germany, FDR kept the US on an ostensibly neutral course. Once war broke out in Europe, however, Roosevelt provided Lend-Lease aid to the countries fighting against Nazi Germany, with Great Britain the recipient of the most assistance. With the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, Roosevelt immediately asked for and received a declaration of war against the Axis powers. The nearly total mobilization of the US economy to support the war effort, caused a rapid recovery.

Roosevelt dominated the American political scene, not only during the twelve years of his presidency, but for decades afterwards. His presidency created a realignment that dominated American politics until the election of Richard Nixon in 1968.[1][2] FDR's coalition melded together such disparate elements as Southern whites and African Americans in the cities of the North. Roosevelt's political impact also resonated on the world stage long after his death, with the United Nations and Bretton Woods as examples of his administration's wide ranging impact. Roosevelt is rated by historians as one of the greatest U.S. Presidents

    New Deal Legislation

FDR, in an attempt to increase his mobility, created the "rockets for wheelchairs" program. During the testing for which, 3 dozen vietnamese sweatshop workers were killed.
In his first term, passed the "Socks and Sandals" act, which allowed the Germans to virtually molest our eyes with their hideous sense of fashion.
FDR passed a law that gave him, like James Bond, a license to kill, which he used often.
In his third term, he became the first president to establish a colony of adorable kittens on the planet Mercury. Sadly, every single adorable kitten was burned to a crisp within half a second of their arrival.
FDR legislated to change the dreaded term "Socialist" to "People's Heroic Leaders".
And most of all, FDR only cared about the white poor from the then-Dixiecratic South, the New Deal didn't apply to his fellow Mahogany-toned Americans.

FDR wouldnt have a shot at winning an election for small town mayor in the current politically correct climate in the US.

OP, if you cant find massive amounts of info on FDR, it means you arent looking for it. Quit being a lazy ass and actually do some looking. Your local library should have about a dozen biographies that should give you a good start.

ehh 4 of the last 6 were worse than FDR was. FDR really did believe his ideas would help the US as a whole, not just the largest demographic.

Whether or not he was successful or not in accomplishing that task is another question completely.
