I just think too many people use the "racism" as a crutch.

you guys act like if me, a white man, walks into harlem i get treated as equals. Or if i walk into a Hot 107.9 concert ill be treated as an equal.

Racism or stereotypes happen EVERYWHERE, get the fuck over it. seriously how can a people move on if they keep clinging to the past in such a bitter manner.

I strongly believe that anyone does their best an works hard can do whatever they want. The tools are there if you WANT IT.

I dont need to walk in a minoritys shoes, just like you dont have to walk in the majoritys shoes.

I mean the biggest double standard exists in todays society. A white man couldnt stand their an tell the NAACP that "blacks need to be known for more than Music and Sports" which is what Obama said.

Ive always said the problem was never equal treatment, its SPECIAL treatment that these liberals and crazies want.

Welcome to our world, except its not a concert its a good portion of places if we go away from certain parts of the city. Your walking into Harlem is our walking into many of the rural counties (and even parts of Suburban Atlanta) in the south.

Again for those who don't like the truth you can live in a bubble and ignore it or accept it and if nothing else adjust your mentality accordingly. There are some people who cry racism at any and everything but I guarantee for that one person who does that there are 10 who are afraid to speak out on legitimate bigotry that they experience.

You see it here even, the same 5 or 6 black members will call out someone on racist posts when there are way more minorities here who want to be "cool" so they laugh and play along with it. I've never found the color of my skin to be the butt of a joke and never will.

I'm sure they thought the same thing 100 years ago, ignorance breeds ignorance.

not really considering my grandparents were alive back then and guess what my grandfather was a cop in athens from 54-82 and we were always taught equality and even their neighbors were black. i actually ran into one of the guys up the street(who is black) and also a cop in athens and he always like my family. he also told me one of the neighbors he had to pick up in atlanta and transport him back to athens for murder. the difference that sticks out to me on anything(inclluding this black in america 2 show) is the parents, or lack of parents in some cases. i found it sad that the principal picked up his students and nobody came to the PTO meetings or even the football games. there was a problem there to me.

also watch what happened to people at ellis island 100 years ago. the sad part is alot of people were manipulated for political reasons just as they are today. nothing has changed there.

There's going to be an abundance or racism regardless. Until the day scholars predict we will all be the same color due to interracial breeding (breeding, haha), we will have have racists sharing our air. And even then people will find new ways to be racist whether it be by the shape of someones eyes or the color or their hair.

I have been saying this for years. Racism is a name and nothing more. People will ALWAYS find a reason to hate another group of people. If it isnt race, its sex, sexuality, religion, wealth, you name it and there is a group that hates them.

Yes, if you go out looking for racists, you will find them. It's not hard at all.

Or you can try living as a white man and know that anytime you have a disagreement with a black man you will be called a racist. Which is EXACTLY what happened in this case.

I guess we need to include our president in this group after his moronic comments last night. That idiot really needs to stick with what he does best and never stray from the teleprompter.

Maybe its not fear, maybe its that they are above it. Some people have the self confidence to simply ignore ignorance and continue on.

I am all for permabanning anyone that makes an obviously racist comment. There is no reason for it here or anywhere else.

We've had many of disagreements and I never called you racist. And trust me, I don't think many of us go "looking" for racists, I tend to be pretty ignorant to it myself.
