Abstract
We have discovered distinctive red/gray chips in all the samples we have studied of the dust produced by the destruction of the World Trade Center. Examination of four of these samples, collected from separate sites, is reported in this paper. These red/gray chips show marked similarities in all four samples. One sample was collected by a Manhattan resident about ten minutes after the collapse of the second WTC Tower, two the next day, and a fourth about a week later. The properties of these chips were analyzed using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (XEDS), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The red material contains grains approximately 100 nm across which are largely iron oxide, while aluminum is contained in tiny plate-like structures. Separation of components using methyl ethyl ketone demonstrated that elemental aluminum is present. The iron oxide and aluminum are intimately mixed in the red material. When ignited in a DSC device the chips exhibit large but narrow exotherms occurring at approximately 430 °C, far below the normal ignition temperature for conventional thermite. Numerous iron-rich spheres are clearly observed in the residue following the ignition of these peculiar red/gray chips. The red portion of these chips is found to be an unreacted thermitic material and highly energetic.

This is still a touchy subject with most individuals, I would say in about 20-30 years they may one day come clean. Take for example the Pearl Harbor attack we knew it was coming, but we needed a reason to go to war.

It is an interesting read. I don't necessarily believe that the government is behind some big conspiracy for these attacks. But I will admit, there is a lot of strange evidence out there that is not explained. Including this....just too many facts to overlook.

2. If 9/11 was an inside job it would have leaked. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. There is no way our govt could pull that off. Obama would have also leaked it to further slander Bush.

3. France would be a great place for the conspiracy theorists. They dont like us anyways adn will listen to anything you have to say.

I heard about this, the fact that it's in a peer reviewed journal should be cause for it not to be dismissed so quickly. However I had to quit reading about the conspiracy theories, because I simply do not have the knowledge to independently verify the information I come across.

See I am still on the fence there is a part of me that wants to believe that our elected officials are not that crooked but there is a larger part of me that knows they are. Either way the FDNY, NYPD and the other first responders and their families got the raw end of the deal. IMHO

lets not forget now that it is still possible for someone or some group with a highly thought out plan to get employees infiltrated in and take care of what needs to be taken care of to make something like this happen. It could be the greatest "Oceans 11" the world has ever seen. Im open for any real answer of course though.
