if we all assume children make mistakes and will do things we tell them not too why would you turn a blind eye to pivotal situations in their lives? there is a reason they are called CHILDREN and you their PARENT. any informed person living in the USA knows that having unprotected sex can lead to teenage pregnancy; failing to teach your children such is your fault. imo that = bad parenting and if you can't parent i dont' think you are fit to run this nation.

lets change the subject slightly i know mike is a gun owner... i'm sure he will teach his children about guns as they grow up... so mike would you leave a loaded gun in your night stand while a child in the house?

of course you can still get pregnant on contraceptives but if we all assume children will have sex don't you think it is important to give them the best education and necessary means to prevent such things as preggers/std's... i guarantee Palin is against HPV vaccinations to teen girls as well b/c in her perfect world her girls will wait till they are married.

but your logic is flawed.

In the gun scenario its a direct CAUSE and effect. Pick up gun, loaded, ppull trigger, kill or maim someone.
