Here is a link to the full-text of HR. 645 (FEMA using military bases) nothing about detainment or martial law of any sort is listed, it just says that the areas will be used as command centers for coordination of Federal/State/Local humanitarian efforts in the event of disaster.

wow calling someone an idiot b/c we don't see eye to eye, and you base this on posts on a website, how cute. you don't know me, my educational background, or anything else for that matter except what has been posted on here, so judge all you want mr high and mighty. i noticed you "following me around in threads last night", like the 2012 one, and apparently you have nothing better to do than go back and read old posts from other threads and judge based on that, well here is my theory on you. you have no life, you think you are god-like smart, and insult everybody else on this site, i have seen it for years. do you think the people in germany under hitler thought it would happen to them, no. but it did. not anywhere on this site do i say "this is the truth and nothing else", "or run for cover we are going to die by fema", who knows what the hell is going to happen, but if shit hits the fan you might think twice about getting on a fema train. i honestly don't think the people of this country will allow us to be sent down the river, but 50% of the population are so interested in BS not relevant to the world that they will get screwed. the sad part is 2 years ago i told several people to move thier retirement accounts, they said i was crazy, etc, but a couple of months ago people said i should have listened to you and others, thank god my mom listened. tell that to all the peopl who thought they were going to retire and cannot anymore b/c the market lost half it's value in 18mos. please explain why pres bush told us of economic collapse if we did not bailout these companies, and now they admit they didn't even need it and are giving it back, now that is fear mongering at it's best. later. . .PD

BTW QD, if im so "dumb" how come these stimulus and bailout bills are 1000+ pages thick and the people voting on them cant even read all the provisions etc before voting. call me crazy but when i see a congressman claiming that marshall law could be declared if the vote was no, on capitol hill, it makes you wonder whats in this stuff. there are videos of these people talking in front of congress about these issues and many others, abt having "closed door meetings" in the middle of the night and kicking the public out which has happened 3 times in US history. so it's ok to spend 2 trillion dollars on "bills" that the people voting on have not had time to read or discuss. we were promised by obama that every bill would have at least 5 days for review by the public and congress, yet that hasn't happened. and the fact that it was so important to "vote now" for the bill or else, and the bill winds up on his desk for another 5 days while on a trip before he signs it when congress ahd less than 12 hours to review it. i think hes an idiot for the rubbish posted on here, so i say you know nothing of my background as to claim im an idiot, and maybe i don't like the tone it was used in. and secondly you did come into the 2012 thread last night after posting in here and mentioned reading through other things i have posted on here, so that would be picking on you!!! the have no life routine is picking on you also b/c i have never met you, and no i'm not a christian. i would not call myself a Nostradamus either, just a simple observation of the stock market/housing bubble for years, sub-prime mortgages and dividends, etc. Esp at the rate we saw for sure. honestly we are in this mess b/c of our banking system and the crooks who run it. there is a good video from capitol hill where paulson is told, "we know your working very very hard, but who are you working for" and now with trillions of dollars going into the system it's time for hyperinflation. we may not see eye to eye, no need for name calling, and im not going to say your always "checking up on me".
