McCain's pernup says their assets are seperate, and they file seperate tax returns. I don't know how much he's got independently of her but I imagine he's got a good bit of other income than just his Senate paycheck. He's authored 4 books, one of which became a movie, I imagine he's got investments, etc. I was reading in a book about Barry Goldwater that McCain screwed Barry and some other AZ politicians over in business deals but I don't remember the name of the book.
