the majority of black people i have talked to are voting for obama, and give direct quotes from the media, and really have no idea about his stance on anything or the fact that he changes his mind often.

Where are people supposed to get their information other than the media. I don't think just anyone could personally call Obama at his house and ask him about his policies.

I imagine the country is so polarized that voting from everyone is at an all time high. Maybe all those who has been shafted by 8 years of W are coming out of the woodwork and becoming active in the political process.
