How many black people can say they are African descent? How many people have parents from Africa and were born from true African natives or lived there then moved here? My guess, 0.01% So how can anyone say they are AFRICAN AMERICAN? If you were born here, you are AMERICAN!! regardless of color, why do people have to try and set thier race apart from anyone else and be so different to throw a country into the American mix that they have never been to nor have family directly from?

If you want to be technical, EVERYONE on the planet then is African because humans are from Africa and migrated then around the world, so can I then say I am AFRICAN AMERICAN?
