Be more specific. I watched it 3 times. What I HONESTLY feel he did was carefully pick his words. He realizes, as does McCain, that one slip of the tongue and the media was going to flip it to hell. No more of that quick answer/rapid fire stuff going down.

The interviewer was also attempted to pry words and answers out. He would ask a question, and the second Obama started to answer the guy suggested the answer, lol.

    Nerve wrecking interview all over.

He was asked that knowing what he knows now would he support the surge and he says no? That alone says he couldnt care less about whats going on in Iraq, he only cares about getting elected.

As far as picking words, you are correct, but if he wants to pick his words he can take a second to think, then answer, not just start bumbling though a weak answer.

He actually says he wouldt support the surge knowing what he knows now, then goes back to say that hindsight is 20/20. What does it matter if hindsight is 20/20 when you would ignore it anyways.

I see what you mean. His point, though, was that no one knew that the Sunni would stand up and help. Looking back is pointless in this instance, and in my opinion a pointless question to ask anyone. If he would have pondered any longer the reporter would have reamed him later, lol.

Example: If a decision you made went bad, and someone asked you "knowing what you know now, would you have made a different decision", you have only 2 answers........either one gets you a bad rap with someone, lol.

McCain's rebuttle was that "We are winning the war, a war that Obama did not support". Would someone like to tell me how much we are winning by? How we are winning? What we have accomplished by this war? Lastly, who wants to support this type of war?

These are questions, I am not implying anything, lol. No bashing, lol.
