    ehh i am down that way occasionally over on pio nono area...ever heard of an old rinky dink place called bassett tire...don't have a clue what road it's off of but they just 4 laned the road in front of it about a year or 2 ago

    Yeah I know the place of course only by driving past, never needed their services but I do know the place. I think it is on Houston Rd.

    well technically now my dad owns it but my granddad still uses it occasionally and we have our own branch of it up here

    Thanks mi4dub I just need to find a good shop to start my long journey to getting my car the way I want it (fast). If anyone knows an outstanding vw knowledgable shop please let me know. My plan is to eventually get it into the 13's or lower if that is reasonable w/ this car. Not really sure what a vw can handle first one I ever owned.

    Though I need to get it lowered first and formost wheel gap from factory is horrible.

    Don't know about any others on here but all us at Cool Cat Racing are here in the Mac town. The shop is just off Eisenhower, near downtown.
