    Default Soon to be noob...

    Hey guys, my name is Alex, I drive a '97 Prelude. I'm actually living in North Carolina right now, but my fiance lives just south of Atlanta. I'm moving down there next Monday, so I figured I would check around and see how the import scene is down there. Up here, especially where I live, its a crazy import scene

    Like I said, I drive a '97 Prelude, with some goodies of course. JDM H22A, M2B4 transmission, I/H/E, fiberglass hood, Rota subzeros, koni struts, skunk2 coilovers, etc. I'm coming from www.importsnc.com , a little smaller, but just getting started. I look forward to meeting some of you at sometime or another.

    What does everyone do on the weekends down here? I'm used to cruising in High Point, NC, maybe do a little street racing here and there. Anything like that go on around Atlanta or preferably a little south?

    street racing is against the law!!!!!but yeah we go out here but we just hang out in parking lots again.

    yeah i haven't done it in a while, i just figured where theres a big group of modded cars, there will be playing around, not necessarily "organized," although i have been to one or two of those since I got the car....

    meh alot of'em will say "street racing is illegal" etc. but alot of'em do it. Really around here i've noticed its somewhat taboo unless ur just posting about having done it in the past in the Killstories section. So.. general rule of thumb, don't go looking for'em. Just go to the meets, have fun and what happens happens, what doesn't doesn't....

    Well I'm not really "looking" for anything, I was just asking where do you guys hang out or whatever. I've never actually been inside Atlanta before, just drive through on 75/85 so I don't know anything about the area. So I'm a real noob

    noobest of the noobs! the varsity is a famous fast food place in downtown atlanta and the 1st thursday of the month a quite large meet goes on there. go to the cars pics section and search "varsity" see what pops up.
