I actually disagree my friend-(I know I sounded very negative about them in my long rant, I just read it for the first time, and it sounded way more negative than intended!)Originally Posted by BABY J
For the money, there is no way you can find a better deal, not to mention, they DO have great potential to be very fast, which in turn makes for a unique car that you don't see on every street corner. I personally think some engine fortification is needed to run boost (I am also paranoid though), but many guys are able to run 6-8 pounds of boost with no problems at all! I just was trying to give my .02 cents on how I think that is very important to make your motor strong before running boost, I would hate to see this guy blow it and then having to pay out of pocket because he lost his warranty.
Considering I paid 17 even for my brand new Spec V in 2005, that included power everything, rockford sound+sunroof, 6spd manual gearbox, and a car that can beat most in its class off the lot, I am very happy with it! I do not regret my purchase by any means, and am glad to be driving a car that is great in stock form, but can also be made into a beast down the road with proper modifications.
Once again, I apologize for what appeared to be me bashing Spec V's in my last post, I have not slept in like 2 days, and should have proof read that message before posting it!![]()
