Thanks for all the welcomes and the compliment on my ride. Its just the beginning of a work in progress. I know as I learn the board where I need to post what but just a first question. I've decided on my swap. I'm looking for a low mileage JDM H22A with a L/S 5 speed. I'll need all the fixin's to make it work like clutch pedal, linkage, harness, ECM, etc. Can anyone point me in a good direction to start looking BESIDES e-bay. I've found what appears to be a few reputable sellers with good feedback and some time in the biz... and most have posted compression tests but I'd like to find and support a local business if possible. I'm not made of money but don't plan on skippng any corners with this swap. I'm good with swaps in other makes (built my stroked 393 in my Bronco and converted it to a Mustang computer with MAF, running a Paxton S/C and added in a electronic controlled 5R100 Torque shift tranny with a stand alone controller.... so I've built harnesses, done some wiring and am pretty good with fabrication and making stuff fit. (I
m a level III Master Ambulance Mechanic with a specialty in emergency vehicle electronics). I've also found some good resources on the web like the swapper's bible. I've got the schematics needed to change the pin outs on my ECM. Just wondering where I start reading about other people's mistakes and where they've sourced parts locally.
Would ideally like to find a friend on here that wouldn't mind spending a day or two when I'm ready to drop the H22 in that can point out some time saving things in the swap. Long range goal is to retain A/C and P/S. I want to add a turbo and an intercooler and run something realistic like 1/2 bar boost until I can work all the bugs out. So, need some ideas on header, what cat, etc. I want to keep it quiet. The bumble bee exhaust isn't really my forte. Can someone offer me a suggestion or two as to a starting point on here to start reading?
I'll have the cash to do this and do it right within the next couple of weeks and I'd like to get it done before I deploy to the gulf to help out with the clean up efforts (within the month...)

thanks again for the welcomes, and a pre-thanks for the help...
