    Default Fresh Noobie

Hi, I'm new to the forums... I've got a 2005 Tiburon which I love. I bought her stock back in 2008 and haven't stopped adding to her since. Right now, I'm working on the exterior, but hopefully soon I can start on my engine.

Welcome. Not really my style, but the car is not THAT bad. If it were me, I would look into getting some bigger wheels with a more aggressive fitment. The widebody is begging for bigger wheels

Thanks for the nice welcome Yea the rims are not as wide as I wanted... but I do have plans for another set. They are the Ti5 Neochrome and black 5 spoke.(The burnt titanium lip rims) I have to stay 18x8 in the front because of clearance with the fenders which I already scrub. But the rear I was thinking about going 18x9.5(This will give the front a 3" lip and the rear a 4" lip). I hope that sets it off right. As far as the motor goes... Its an auto... but it does have a slap stick on it. I plan to get cams, headers, and I really want to supercharge it. Because it's a auto, a turbo won't spool up enough so I really won't be getting the power I should be. But I think a supercharger will do the trick. If you have any more suggestions on what my make it run a little faster please let me know.. Thanks!

Uh oh... someone bring out the douche bag police... Who doesn't have rims? I will agree the fender don't fit well.. Please tell that to ViS who sold such horrible fitting fenders. (Top of the fender near the pillars weren't even cut) Plans are to get a Duraflex bodykit from extreme dimensions this fall. Hopefully this one will fit right. Besides the fenders everything matched up perfect. By stickers you mean the club I'm in right?!? Emblems in front are the Tuscani emblems which is the Korean version of my car. I like the t better on the emblem. And well, yes I do have autobot emblems... I know silly huh and probably dumb I know... To many people say they like them for me to take them off. Thanks for the suggestion on the tow hitch... thanks...but no thanks... This is a daily driven float.

No, I didn't buy it like this... Everything that is not stock on the car was done by me. But yea there are a couple in GA with this body kit..(seems to be one of the more popular ones if you have the money to pay for a wide body or want one) I saw one at the nopi wannabe show 2 years ago. He had it set up really nice.. The paint was beautiful... black with red metal flake...

i say your gonna have to go wider than that 8 and 9.5 to fit the kit right. Id suggest to try to find a lower offset wheel for the front im sure those 8 you have on there are probrably high 40+ offset. If you get a lower offset like a 20, you can get away with 9 - 10 all around... . u mayneed to trim the kit fender walls... make sacrfices!

Yea I do think mine is 40+. I take that back with the 18x8 though because they just have a 18x7.5 with an offset of 42 and they have a 18x8.5 with an offset of 15 and another with 40. I could also do a 19x10.5 in the rear with an offset of 25. It doesn't have a 18x8 listed. If I trim the fender I probably will go with the 18x8.5, and 18x9.5(both with an offset of 15)

19x10? lolol.... Let me know how that works out for you

Anything 18x8.5 or wider will most likely rub if lowered, even with an offset of +30. Even if you run +25, I don't see it ending well with 19's. Not much room at all under there.

    Ask me how I know.

Not bad so far though... just never been a fan of the Min style kits -- Or any kits for that matter. Front lip, maybe skirts and you're set IMO.
