Just go to an empty parking lot and practice repeatedly starting in first. Then stopping and starting again. Once you get first down, the rest come naturally. Just need to get a feel of the clutch and where it engages at. If it helps, try to do it slowly with no gas at all, just use the clutch. Will help you get a better feel for it. But like i said practice in a parking lot with no traffic.
