Hey guys! What's shakin? I am from Atlanta originally. I was born and raised around the Beaver Ruin area but moved to the Flowery Branch/Hoschton area during the middle school and high school years.
I am currently living in Winder which, to those who aren't aware, is a little dump that is slowly being revitalized just outside of Athens. I actually live about 15 minutes from Athens. I work in Gainesville though at a company called Danley Sound Labs.
I drive two cars.
My first and most driven is my 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege in Spicy Orange. For those who don't know it was Mazda's first Mazdaspeed badged model. It's production number is 1660 hence the name (which I only chose that name because TheDirtyGoatee was too long and that's what I usually use for a forum name). It's a turboed 4 door sedan. It was built to be a street ready sport sedan to combat the SRT-4 and Sentra SE-R (which in a straight line it can't do but around the curves, I'll see you later) Mine only has one none stock piece, a set of Tokico 5 way adjustable struts for added stiffness. If you want more details about the car, search Google or go read a f^&%ing book.
My second car is my prized posession. It's a 1987 Dodge Colt Vista with 102k original miles. It was passed down from my grandma to me. My hopes are to one day convert it to a 5 speed, drop a 4g63t from the Eclipse in it (as I believe it's a direct bolt up) and swap to a racing tranny. It would DEFINITELY be classified as a sleeper at that point. It is basically what we now call a "crossover" way before it's time. Not too many are in this side of the states but in my recent trip to Vegas/Cali, I saw about 5 just like it in the span of 2 weeks.
I'm married and loving it. Any other questions, hit me up. I enjoy long walks on the beach, seeing a nice quiet flick at my local theater, or making my way up to Commerce to watch SRT's, SE-R's, and Si's kick the shit out of my Mazda buddies. Why? Because that's about the only place those cars shine.
EDIT: Also, I am on the Mazda forums a lot more but once this forum allows me to get into my User profile and edit some, I'll have a better sig/profile.
