Thanks guys, I just got it. Its my first honda. I love it so far. I've got a few plans for it already. Only thing is its got a d16. =slow. I'm debating boosting or swapping. i really have no clue at this point what I wanna do. any thoughts?
dude a D16 isnt that slow. trust me i used to have a D16y8 in a EG and it can hang really well. D16 has power if your wallet is nice and fat LOL.Originally Posted by d-man478

Either way man, car looks good. Good luck either way ya decide to go with it... If there is nothing wrong with the engine, and has rather low miles. I would just build it/boost it instead of swapping it...

B16a, B18c, H22, or an F22 swap would all be good and boost your power. Friend has a B16 and runs 15.2 with intake and exaust. Another friend had a 14 sec hb with a b18 and gsr tranny. H22 good for all motor, doesnt hold boost well though

Welcome. And if money is an issue, i really wouldn't stress so much on an engine swap just yet. Enjoy your car as is for now, save up some money, and then decide after you've had some time under your belt (along with a lot of knowledge), what you want to do with your car. Trust me, i've gone through 3 engines already for my Honda, and only 1 has actually made it into the car. The others just sat in the garage for years until I sold them for a fraction of what I bought them for.
Thanks for the opinions guys, since I've had the car I've visited a few shops and I have a good friend that works on Hondas, They all have different opinions! lol. So I guess I'll just drive it around for a little while, do some small stuff until I can figure out what I really wanna do.
