This is Bart's old car so I know it was around the Macon/Warner Robins area at one time. It has a T04Z single turbo kit on it if I remember correctly and its actually a R34 GTS with a GTR conversion but it is still only RWD,

If it is still on this set up the car was very quick and nice.

I had to replace the ECU though, such a pain...
Whoever installed it didn't ground it properly and 2 of the injector drivers stopped working. But it's fine now except it runs a little rich as it was tuned down in florida, at sea level of course.

Larry didn't import it, one of the other Florida guys brought it in from Canada.

There is a importer who brought in several shipments of Skylines, he did not do a very good job on the registration and it caught the eye of Customs which in turn caused HLS to investigate. HLS has sofar confescated a handful of the cars that were imported by him and are continuing to track the rest.

It's by no means a nationwide crack down on Skylines in general, it's as of right now just the ones that he brought in.

Unless someone else has more information on this which would be helpful. I don't have any kind of direct contacts with HLS or Customs to get this info so what I have posted above is what I have read from a decent amount of web sources.

My recommendation is if they come knocking on your door, have your car well hidden and say it was stolen.

Well it's about as GTR as I can get... Only it's RWD with a 5speed. That aside, everything on the car is GTR spec or better.

Which varsity, and what time?

Closest one to me is Norcross, I won't be going downtown :P

It certainly is a nice car. We put that turbo on the car, right after we put a pair of Apexi RS6 turbos on it. The previous owner was very fickle with mods and had the money to spend. I spent quite a bit of time tracking down electrical problems in that car. When the swap was originally done they really took some shortcuts in the wiring. After a few problems Bart just sold the car rather than let me take the harness out and just fix it right or replace it with another one. He wanted a Porsche turbo anyways. I honestly don't think it was ever properly tuned. The parts on the car when it left here will support 550whp+ if it was ever tuned right but the owner thought he could tune it fine in his garage.
