.Proper maintenance on your car will consist of changing the spark plugs, changing the oil/filter(once about every 3,000 or so), changing fuel filter, maybe new plug wires every so often. You could also drain, flush and refill your radiator. Check all your hoses for cracks and tears. That's a few of the things that will help keep that engine in check for you.
