just so you know incase you dont , the 1.8 that is in that car is the same 1.8 that is in the miata and you can do almost all of the same performance upgrades. will it ever be a supra? hell no.. if you want a supra sell your car and use it as a down payment.

well they r the same for the most part beside the layout ofcourse. the Bp(1.8 dohc) in the later miatas is alot more advanced and not much will swap over. there r tons and tons of companies that make parts for you car and forums and clubs to help and support u.i know i owned a 1st gen and now own a 3rd gen. and the supra thing. i believe there is a video in the video section of a Escort GT (same motor as your LX) that is turbo'ed (BP-T) beating up on a 500whp suprawelcome , i think.
