1.Newcomers, first tell about what vehicle you drive. If you want, list some of the mods that you have made for your ride. Leave pics if you want (you can do this by leaving a photo album of your ride through facebook just like you do for any photo album).
IF YOU GET BORED, CHECK OUT THE "REAL" IMPORT TUNER'S WEBSITE LISTED ABOVE!
2.FYI!
If you have a "midsize" or "fullsize" Infiniti, Nissan, Acura, Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes, or BMW, your car would look hotter with chrome rims or spinners and tinted windows. Thisa is true for all imported SUV's and some imported trucks.
Oil Change is every 3,000-4,000 miles!
If you are going to add fuel additives for your ride--I will say this one time--USE NON-ALCOHOL GUMOUT BRANDS (best recommended)!
3. If you ever want to "drift" consider getting these cars:
300ZX: 3.0L V6 2+2 coupe (most recommened), 300ZX (non-turbo)
350Z: 3.5L V6 coupe
Infiniti G35-skyline: 3.5L V6 coupe or sedan.
Nissan 240SX: 2.4L V6 coupe (recommened)
Nissan SE-R: 2.0L I-4 sedan (coupe 1998 and older).
Nissan Altima SE-R
Infiniti M30: 3.0L V6 coupe or convertible
Honda Prelude (V-tec type)
Mazda RX-7/-8
Acura Integra GSR
Any Porsche
BMW M3 or M5 or the like
Mits. 3000GT VR4 or one with turbo
Honda Civic Si
Eagle Talon AWD
Mercedes AMG sedans or coupes (have fun paying them off!)
Toyota Supra
Toyota Celica GT
Toyota MR2
Volkswagen Corrado
VW GTI
4.IMPORT TUNING NO NO'S
Don't put rims on a car with very ugly paint or paint combo (what is meant by this, rides with more rust spots than the ride's horsepower, too many ashes, rides painted with MISMATCHING colors [oh god!]).Your ride won't look hot! If your car has some dents and dings, that's cool.
SOLUTION: Take care of the exterior paint first (this should be done by a professional)
Don't try to put every single god damn performance thing on your ride. For instance buying every single part, that you saw at a performance store, and putting them on your ride.
Don't put badges, that are different than your ride's make, that won't "work" with your ride. For instance putting a Honda badge on an Acura Integra is fine and vice versa with a Honda Civic, but a Ford Mustang badge on a Nissan 240SX is a DISGRACE!!
Don't try to paint your own ride, or part of it, yourself (unless you have the same painting equipment that MAACO has, and if you know how the auto painting process goes)! Little "rusties" and scratches can be fixed with paint repair.
Do not install a body kit on your ride and then paint it later. Paint the body kit before you install it otherwise your ride will have a "two-tone" color!
If you gonna do an engine swap, make sure that the engine you are swappin for is the same year as your "old" engine or newer. Just a friendly warning, DO NOT SWAP UR "OLD" ENGINE FOR AN OLDER ONE!!! That shit is illegal and u could go to jail for it or worse!
