I am myself kinda new to the forums but thats becuase i used another persons name but i am just turned 18 and my parents bought me a semi good ocndition 01 Nissan Sentra and since then i have payed $230 each month in insuarnce and over a grand in maintance whihc i just finished i hope. But i work up to 35 hours a week at work making 7.5 an hour to afford my car....but i also won it from a bet with my dad with grades in school. But about a g35 i can say that it is possible for a kid to afford. a friend of mine is a great automotive worker and he got a job for infinitie and gets a discount and says saving his money for 1 year will afford it for him....but that falls under working his ass off for something. But i might have no right in saying this being that my parents bought mine....but only from good effort and a smart bet...but this is jsut a veiw from another 18 year old with a pretty good car.
hey billy, thats what ppl do on here, hate. just dont be a jackass and they'll stop. i've been getting hated on here since i was 14. i dont see a problem being into cars young. i could install speakers and intakes since before i had a permit, i dont see a problem. what school do u go to btw? and dont feel bad, i have 2 friends that drive bimmers, a couple that drive lexus', and one of my friends has a show rx-7 worth over 70k, plus an acura tl for a daily driver. i dont see anything wrong with ure parents being able to buy u nice stuff, these other ppl are just mad that their parents couldnt. i myself drive a fully loaded 2004 mazda 6, not quite ure g35, but its gettin there. just letting you know.

i dont have a car yet but im planning on buying one in july (240sx or mk1 mr2) . i have been working my ass off since last year and now i have almost enough to buy what i want... and even though my POS car from the 80s is slower and uglier than ur shiny g35, i still think my car will be better than urs...
this isnt about jealousy, it about PRIDE. when u have a job and u pay for ur own shit, it gives you a great feeling of accomplishment and pride, and it also makes me feel like a grown up even though im a kid just like u, and i think that when we grow up and real life comes up, life wont slap me in the face like it slaps most spoiled kids, since i honestly believe i am more mature than u, lol no offence.
but yeah i would not have turned down a g35 when i was 16, nor would i today lol

well just cause he is 16 and has a g35 does'nt mean he's that spoiled i made a deal with my parents for my 1st car . as long as i worked hard at football and had good grades in the top classes they would pay for my car otherwise they will make me get a job and pay for it . it's a great way to keep me focused on school . hah but i have bad gramer anyway oh well
LOL same thing here i am 18 an di made a deal with ym parents for my first car even though it was an 02 Impala from my dads company with 70k mileage i just had to make good dam grades and i got it in the fact i dont care much for school activites....but yeah i own a sentra now but i worked for my first car.

Where does that deserve a new car at all, let alone a $30,000+ car. My would venture to say my parents are richer than yours(they own a city in Tennessee) and I grad. HS with 3.75 and college with 4.0 GPAs and I didn't get a new car. It kept my head on my shoulders and made me smart enough to get a job and buy my own car. Stayting out of trouble and getting good grades are NOT rewarded. That's a given. Your parents are idiots for compromising with you.

But thats nice some kids parents buy them stuff like that..When I was 14 I found an 88 Honda Prelude for a $1000. My parents laughed when I asked them to buy it for me. So for two summers I worked like no other, cutting grass, watching peoples freakin dogs..I even sold two of my go karts for money..not even a month after spending my hard earned money and buying the car, some woman pulled out infront of me.. sending me to the hostipal and the car to the crusher..what was left of it..
