    Damn, very nice bike! Wish I could get back on two wheels. How did it compare against the r1?

    This GSXR is definitely a BEAST!! Stupid FAST!! Killed plenty of Busas & 14s. It's an animal. It takes a lot of might and force to keep this bike in check. I'm more of a sharp twisties, leaned over kind of person. The GSXR can do it and do it well it just takes more effort than the R1. I'm faster on the GSXR than the R1 but the R1 is a little tamer and easier to handle. Hope this gives you a little more insight. If you're just street riding 285, 20, 75/85 then this is KING!! If you can ride you'll be in front of the pack w/ this bike. GUARANTEED!!

    i could take a sv650 and make you look like a fool in the twisties..........
